Cantine Campana

Cantine Campana was established in 1972 as a small family-run business at the behest of Giò Maria Dante. The company provides local farmers with opportunities for grape purchasing and bottling. As consumer demand grew, Cantine Campana invested in wine production, grape management, and fermentation processes, supporting local farmers in the process. In 2010, the company expanded its production plant to enhance production methods and improve the quality of products, thanks a project funded by Emilia Romagna region and the European Union. This recognition enabled Cantine Campana to revitalize the region’s agricultural heritage and strengthen its collaboration with local farmers. The company made substantial investments and offered additional training to focus on grape control and vineyard care, ensuring the production of top-quality wines. Cantine Campana is located at the confluence of Val d’Arda and Val Chero, where most of the region’s grapes are grown, producing around 900,000 bottles annually. The winery produces a range of wines, with 80% holding D.O.C. certification, adhering to the local traditions of Piacenza. Varieties include Gutturnio, Barbera, Bonarda, Ortrugo, Malvasia Aromatica di Candia, and Monterosso Val d’Arda, available in both sparkling and still options.
